Honeywell Assembly Mechanic - Level 4 (FAA) - 2:30pm-11:00pm in Phoenix, Arizona
As an Assembly Mechanic – Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will report directly to our ISC Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring the accurate assembly of mechanical components and systems. Your work will contribute to the overall quality and performance of our products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications
Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure product integrity
Test and troubleshoot mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

FAA REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-attuned positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-attuned positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
