Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona
Description We are in need of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is within the healthcare industry and offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity. The workplace is mainly office-based with a possibility of occasional remote work. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, with a key focus on managing our accounts payable system.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Track, reconcile and manage full-cycle accounts payable
• Handle fixed assets tracking and depreciation
• Conduct general ledger (GL) reconciliations
• Manage multi-daily cash credit card transactions
• Assist in audit preparation
• Utilize accounting software systems such as QuickBooks, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Microsoft Excel
This role requires a strong understanding of accounting functions, data entry, discrepancy identification, and check processing. Proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel is essential. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) software
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 software
• Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in Check Processing
• Excellent Data Entry skills
• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies
• Experience with QuickBooks software
