ERT VP, Medical Imaging Oncology in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: R14654 The VP, Medical Imaging Oncology Head is a pivotal member of the senior executive team, entrusted with the strategic and long-term development of the Medical Imaging Oncology Therapeutic Area. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in medical, scientific, and technical domains to define, lead, and execute global vision, mission, strategies, and tactics within the Therapeutic Area. Primary Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Provide oversight, strategy and guidance for all aspects of Medical Imaging for Oncology clinical trials. Design and implement business strategies, plan and procedures. Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and meticulously track progress. Evaluate and report business results, including forecasting for budgeting purposes. Ensure the successful delivery of client projects, meeting both customer satisfaction and revenue/profitability targets. Provide scientific and technical supports/oversite in research activities. Explore new opportunities to enhance organizational and departmental processes. Operational Management: Incorporate and/or participate in program development and enhancements, financial planning and analysis, metric and reporting, shared services relationship management, contract compliance, and process improvement. Manage the resolution of technical/radiological/study concerns and problems. Lead the oncology team, ensuring cohesive collaboration and high performance. Client Relations and Business Development: Participate in strategic business client calls/meeting. Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of and commitment to the medical imaging industry, compliance, and a strong understanding of internal processes.

Secondary Responsibilities Maintain quality service and departmental standards by: Reading, understanding, and adhering to organizational standard operating procedures (SOPs) Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards

Contribute to team effort by: Working with internal staff to resolve issues. Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes. Helping others to achieve results. Performing other duties as assigned

Maintain technical and industry knowledge by: Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training

Qualifications MD required; MBA a plus. At least 10 years' work experience in life sciences Radiologist Deep experience of Medical Imaging, Regulatory and Clinical Research processes. Proven track record of leadership and success within pharmaceutical or medical imaging industry Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and lead teams through change and innovation. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and advancement. Extensive experience in managing a large workforce. Excellent quantitative/analytical and negotiation skills. Skillful at building relationships with senior executives. Experience of navigating solutions to business and customer problems

Working conditions Travel: 50-80% (can be adjusted) Lifting: 0-15 lbs. (can be adjusted) Other: Computer work for long periods of time
