Robert Half Senior Financial Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

One of our recognized clients is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who has proven expertise in the understanding of the capital and operating budgets. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic decision making by providing comprehensive financial analysis and insights. In this Senior Financial Analyst role, you will assess financial opportunities, complete complex accounting analysis, generate monthly/quarterly reporting packages, prepare month end close entries, lead or assist with due diligence efforts for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other business development initiatives, perform budgeting and forecasting activities, and assist in identifying new growth opportunities and potential areas for business expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data to determine the feasibility of requests

  • Serve as a finance liaison, reporting billed charges and identifying unusual trends/issues that could impact charge capture reconciliation

  • Conduct audits and balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis

  • Evaluate outpatient revenue

  • Ensure accurate reporting of new/existing business models for profitability

  • Reconcile system interfaces for EPIC, Lawson GL

    Requirements

The ideal Senior Financial Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Arts/Science.

Other requirements for the Senior Financial Analyst role include and are not limited to:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst role

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)

  • Access Database experience preferred

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Innovative problem solving skills.
