Clarivate Analytics (US) LLC Senior Director, Product Management in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 126547-2 We are excited to bring on a new Senior Director of Product Management to join our growing team at Clarivate. You will manage the Information Solutions Platform Team, partnering closely with platform and business product managers across IS to ensure the agreed product roadmap is completed in a timely way to meet IS sales and revenue targets. This includes deploying resources effectively, ensuring that requirements are documented accurately for development, making critical decisions on development priorities to drive product value, and serving as the representative of the product management team to development, content ops, and UX. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience 10 years of experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment, ideally in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Technical Product Manager role 10 years of experience working in the information industry with large scale data systems 7 years of experience leading or managing a team

Strong technical background balanced with a business mindset and customer first philosophy Comfortable using collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information Experience with best practice agile scrum development Effectively influences the priorities of other functions Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers and users Excellent people, management, and clear communication skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams & third parties Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset Understands business drivers, context and key issues. Executes product strategy including roadmap and prioritization decisions.

What will you be doing in this role?...

Managing a team of platform product management professionals to ensure timely roadmap delivery. This team is focused on the following activities: Working in an Agile environment and continuously reviewing the business needs, priorities, milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks Working with cross-functional teams & stakeholders: analytics, UX, engineering, and user enablement Reporting and analysis of usage data with actionable outcomes for the Information Solutions organization Translating product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including functionality, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. Prioritizing & maintaining the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing stakeholder requirements Leading the product functional design process based on knowledge of the users, our products and evolving technology Develop & maintain appropriate tracking/reporting of product performance to evaluate future investment

About the Team You will lead and manage a team of nine experienced and professional platform product managers, based in the US, UK, and India

Hours of Work Full time, permanent Although duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours may be required Some travel required Hybrid position (2-3 days a week in the office)
