ARAMARK Senior Content Specialist - Collegiate Hospitality in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description

This role is a key member of both Aramark?s Collegiate Hospitality line of business and the Business Resource Center (BRC), Aramark?s in-house agency focused on the development and delivery of high-quality sales materials aligned with efforts to drive growth through retaining and winning business.

The Collegiate Hospitality Content Specialist is the day-to-day strategic writing partner for the Growth team and the BRC team of talent. As a liaison between the Collegiate Hospitality Growth team and the BRC, this role works with leadership to understand the elevated creative writing requirements for all aspects of BRC and Collegiate Hospitality deliverables.

This role leads content development on Collegiate Hospitality sales-related projects working closely with the BRC Traffic Manager to plan and resource project support from shared BRC resources including proposal coordinators, project managers, copywriting, proofreading and creative services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with Collegiate Hospitality to develop content that aligns with business objectives, market positioning, brand voice, and vision

  • Act as a collaborative strategic partner to Collegiate Hospitality with the ability to write, edit, and proofread

  • Develop content that clearly positions the value proposition, incorporates key outcomes and critical market and brand differentiators in a consistent and impactful manner in all deliverables

  • Facilitate effective communication to clarify expectations on a wide range of deliverables

  • Write highly complex sales, operations, and internal support materials for a variety of documents

  • Support content in sales proposals, RF(x) documents, presentations, client reports, and internal and external materials for Collegiate Hospitality

  • Create language for new brand concepts in collaboration with graphic designer

  • Ensure brand standards compliance and accurate content

  • Prioritize and determine resourcing on projects based on skills, abilities, capacity, existing relationships, and project outcomes

  • Adhere to proven repeatable project management processes while continually identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiencies, process, and workstream management

  • Interpret and apply brand identity and standards

  • Accurately and efficiently produce consistent, high-quality deliverables on time

Scope:

  • Think strategically and apply a flexible creative approach to a wide variety of projects

  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain effective communication in dotted-line reporting structure

  • Ensure copy and design work together for compelling messaging and clear communication of the sales value proposition

  • Consistently meet all project deadlines while managing multiple leadership and requestor priorities

  • Assist in the integrity, coordination and organization of shared electronic files

  • Understand, monitor, and proactively support the Collegiate Hospitality sales funnel

  • Solicit regular feedback to identify areas of opportunity for improvement within the business process

  • Translate business requests to the wider team to ensure projects are properly planned, resourced and executed

  • Continually improve and demonstrate best practices to peers, clients, and organization

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategizing, developing, and executing multi-format client client-facing sales materials/publications including but not limited to RFP responses, co-branded collateral, packaging design, and other strategic selling materials.

  • Preferred experience in higher education and/or food services

  • Hold a degree in communications, other relevant degree, or comparable work experience

  • Have a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Have experience with project management tools, CRM, and other relevant software

  • Think creatively and approach a wide variety of projects from new angles

  • Be able to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented, and deadline-driven environment

  • Champion the processes of existing and future project management solutions and processes

  • Accommodate non-traditional work hours in response to business needs, capacity, and deadlines

  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude with a deep desire to constantly be looking to improve process, deliverables, and team relationships

  • Demonstrate an ability to engage and interact effectively with team members, company leadership at all levels, contractors, and subject matter experts

  • Employ exceptional project management skills, with the ability to multi-task while still maintaining quality of work and meet deadlines

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possess strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

A portfolio of relevant writing samples is required at interview stage.
