We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Photographer to join the ocular imaging research team. This individual will play a key role in acquiring high-quality ophthalmic images and diagnostic data using state-of-the-art technologies.
Responsibilities
Capture ophthalmic images in a clinical research setting using specialized imaging systems, including Ocular fundus imaging systems, OCT, Corneal topography, Specular microscopy, and Ultrasound.
Perform visual field testing using multiple clinical devices and protocols.
Obtain consent forms and other required documentation.
Educate research participants on medication administration and procedural instructions.
Export and upload imaging data for research and clinical assessments.
Ensure strict adherence to patient safety protocols and HIPAA privacy standards.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of relevant experience, including one year as an Ophthalmic Photographer/Technician with experience in retinal imaging.
Familiarity with ophthalmology terminology.
Experience in clinical research and medical research.
Proficiency with ophthalmic imaging software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certified Ophthalmic Medical Assistant (COA) preferred.
Certified Retinal Angiographer (CRA) preferred.
Work Environment
This is an on-site, patient-facing position with traditional 8-5 working hours. The role involves working in a clinical research setting and provides opportunities for professional growth within the field of ophthalmology.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
