Job Description Summary

The Quaker Fellow in External Operations is a one year opportunity and reports to the Director of Video Content.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support Director of Video Content in the capturing and editing of video that enhances revenue streams through fan engagement, brand awareness, advertising, and public relations strategy.

  • Collaborate with ticket office to help push sales for ticketed sports and Penn Relays.

  • Create interactive and exciting in-game content to engage fans through video boards at The Palestra, Franklin Field, and River Fields.

  • Aid in building and organizing Penn Athletics video archive and develop metrics and analytics for digital content.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Video Content

Qualifications

  • Understanding of basic camera functions.

  • Must know fundamentals of editing in programs like Adobe Premiere.

  • Basic understanding of capturing video content and delivering to social media avenues.

  • 1-2 years of experience within an intercollegiate athletics department, preferably in an external operations department.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Ability to professionally collaborate with a diverse group of coaches, staff, and students-athletes.

  • Exhibit strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and independently execute task on a deadline.

Pay Range

$7.25 - $18.00 Hourly Rate

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
