Stronghold Development & Construc Project Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Stronghold Development & Construction, LLC seeks a Project Manager. This position is located in Philadelphia, PA with up to 5% local travel required.
This position will ensure the timely completion of construction projects by overseeing all phases of the projects.
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely and costly completion of construction projects by overseeing all phases of the project. This entails working with a variety of stakeholders to develop a detailed project schedule and work plan, coordinating equipment and materials, operating within a budget, and supervising the overall progress of each project.
This position also entails:
- Observing construction sites and supervising sub-contractors;
- Preparing reports and evaluations;
- Forecasting resources needed to meet objectives;
- Leading the preparation of the budget;
- Tracking budget and project costs and approving budget spend;
- Managing contracts with vendors and suppliers;
- Managing the work schedule of all projects;
- Developing and creating project drawings in AutoCAD and REVIT;
- Implementing drawings and identify flaws; and
- Planning and executing construction of concrete and steel structures.
Must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or foreign equivalent and two years of experience as a civil engineer. Must also have two years of experience with construction and planning, working with concrete and steel structures, preparing reports, approving budget spend; using AutoCad and REVIT to develop and create project drawings.
