Program Specialist

Requirements: (Either oneworks)

• Master’s degree or abovefrom an accredited college or university and 1 year of work

experience with people withan intellectual disability or autism.

• Bachelor’s degree from anaccredited college or university and 2 years of work experience

with people with intellectualdisability or autism.

• Associate’s degree or 60credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of

work experience with peoplewith an intellectual disability or autism.

• High school diploma or GEDand 6 years of work experience with people with intellectual

disability or autism.

Description: The Program Specialist leads the individual’s team toensure full support in everyday life.

They develop and guideservices needed for community inclusion and ensure all support is consumer [1] driven and reflective of the agency’s mission and values. They serve asthe point person between HCSIS and assigned Consumers,ensuring ISPs are accurate, services are provided, and plans of corrections are implemented.
