We are currently seeking to fill our Physician Assistant Faculty - Clinical Focus position at the Philadelphia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual.

Job Title: Principal Physician Assistant Faculty - Clinical Department: Physician Assistant Location: Philadelphia Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: The Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program within the College of Health Sciences seeks a full-time Assistant Professor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to educate PA students and foster clinical learning opportunities within the community. REPORTS TO: Chairperson or designee. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF CLINICAL FACULTY: Coordinate the clinical education phase of the curriculum. Identify, recruit, and maintain clinical rotation sites. Cultivate collaborative external relationships to facilitate valuable clinical experiences and community partnerships. Ensure documentation completion for affiliation agreements with clinical sites and student credentialing requirements. Conduct site visits of clinical learning sites. Perform student site assessments to evaluate performance. FACULTY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Contribute to designing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the curriculum. Deliver instruction through traditional lecture formats and facilitate small group learning activities. Develop learning objectives to guide student learning in both didactic and clinical phases. Serve as a course director or liaison for PA curriculum courses. Participate in creating and refining exam questions. Evaluate student academic performance and assist in remediation. Assess research projects of clinical year students. Provide academic advisement to didactic and clinical year PA students. Participate in the admissions process and applicant selection. Serve on departmental and college-wide committees. Provide letters of recommendation for students and graduates upon request. Participate in student events such as student society activities, orientation, the white coat ceremony, and commencement. Attend professional conferences to enhance student instruction and patient care delivery. Engage in scholarly activity. ACCREDITATION RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in ongoing program analysis. Ensure compliance with educational objectives during the clinical ph se. Participate in annual curriculum reviews and faculty retreats. Assist in obtaining and completing documentation required to satisfy ARC-PA clinical site requirements. REQUIREMENTS: Nationally certified (NCCPA) physician assistant. Current, valid, and unrestricted state license. Minimum of a Master's degree. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.

The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting.
