Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PCCU) Registered Nurse (RN)

CTTX Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Cardiac Care Unit (PcCU) team. As a PICU nurse, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care to critically ill children and adolescents.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients' conditions and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan.

  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients.

  • Monitor vital signs, evaluate diagnostic tests, and interpret and respond to changes in the patient's condition.

  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families regarding their condition and treatment plan.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or pediatric critical care setting.

  • Current BLS and PALS certifications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

  • Passion for providing compassionate and specialized care to pediatric patients and their families.
