We are seeking a Food Service Utility Worker to join our team full time. The Food Service Utility Worker must be energetic, detailed-oriented, and highly organized. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time is required.  Must be reliable, dependable, with strong customer service skills. 

Summary: *The Food Service Utility Worker's *position assists the culinary team in performing a variety of food and production duties, along with related cleaning and other tasks.

*Duties and Responsibilities *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Performs cleaning tasks in the dining and kitchen areas.
  2. Washes dishes and equipment used in food preparation and serving.
  3. Ensures the storage area is cleaned and organized.
  4. Disposing of trash.
  5. Adheres to ServSafe standards and best practices for safe food handling and preparation and is in compliance with safety regulations/procedures at all times.
  6. Assists with food prep as needed. May be required to prepare beverages (i.e. brewing coffee).

*Education/Experience: *High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

*Specialized Training and Other Requirements: *Must maintain a ServSafe and or RAMP certification. Will be required to complete brand specific trainings.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands, talk, hear and smell. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will occasionally work in a walk-in freezer and /or near moving parts (slicer). Employee should be able to lift 75 pounds.
