The Director | | | offers alternative forms of | | | dispute resolution when | | | appropriate and provides regular | | | updates to the campus community | | | regarding compliance and | | | regulatory issues in higher | | | education connected to student | | | misconduct., The Director serves | | | as a member of the University's | | | Sexual Misconduct and | | | Interpersonal Violence Response | | | Team, in accordance with the | | | University's process when there | | | are allegations of | | | student-to-student sexual | | | misconduct, interpersonal | | | violence, sexual exploitation or | | | stalking. | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Essential Duties | - * Code of Conduct | | | | | |   | | | | | | - Oversee operation of the | | | University Student | | | Conduct System | | | - Adjudicate individual | | | student cases via formal | | | conduct hearings and/or | | | refers cases to the | | | informal hearing process | | | or other conflict | | | resolution processes as | | | appropriate | | | - Ensures the effective | | | administration of the | | | University's student | | | conduct code and student | | | conduct process by | | | serving as the lead | | | conduct officer for | | | nonacademic student | | | misconduct and training | | | both professional and | | | paraprofessional staff in | | | all aspects of the | | | University's student | | | conduct process. | | | - Promotes the Student Code | | | of Conduct and university | | | expectations to all | | | students at major | | | touchpoints during | | | orientation and | | | first-year student | | | programming, and through | | | collaborative programming | | | and outreach year-round. | | | - Coordinates and chairs | | | all Formal Hearings | | | related to violations of | | | the Student Code of | | | Conduct, Anti-Harassment | | | Non-Discrimination | | | policy, Sexual Misconduct | | | & Interpersonal Violence | | | policy, and the Title IX | | | policy. | | | - Maintain current | | | knowledge of Student | | | Conduct trends by | | | researching best | | | practices, and | | | benchmarking at peer | | | institutions | | | | | | - * **Sexual Misconduct & | | |
