TheDirector of Solutions Architecture for Partner Accounts is a leadership role at the intersection of technology, strategy, and customer engagement. You will drive the technical vision and execution for Elastic's partner accounts within the U.S. Public Sector and Americas regions, leveraging expertise in hyperscalers, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), and advanced architectural principles to deliver impactful solutions for Elastic customers. This role involves managing and growing a high-performing Solutions Architecture team, driving strategic engagement with key partner accounts, and delivering innovative, scalable solutions that address complex customer needs across supported regions.What You'll Do:Leadership & Strategy

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Solutions Architects supporting U.S. Public Sector and Americas partner accounts. Define and execute the technical strategy for Elastic's partner engagements, ensuring alignment with business growth and customer success goals. Provide leadership on leveraging advanced AI/ML technologies, hyperscaler cloud platforms, and distributed system architectures in support of partner account initiatives. Oversee team recruiting, onboarding, and enablement, encouraging a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and innovation.Partner Account Engagement

Act as a senior technical leader for partner accounts, building trust-based relationships with senior technical stakeholders and decision-makers. Develop and implement tailored solutions that leverage hyperscaler platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) to drive partner account growth. Drive co-innovation with partner accounts by architecting scalable AI/ML pipelines, advanced observability solutions, and secure multi-cloud deployments.Solutions Development

Translate Elastic's technical capabilities into impactful solutions that solve complex customer challenges within the U.S. Public Sector and Americas regions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft reusable architectural frameworks, incorporating advanced cloud-native technologies, observability platforms, and data security. Advocate for Elastic's solutions by guiding partner accounts in developing technical proposals and strategic initiatives that demonstrate measurable business outcomes.Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a bridge between Elastic's Product, Engineering, and Sales teams, delivering insights that prioritize development of AI/ML capabilities and hyperscaler integrations. Partner with Marketing to produce thought leadership content, including technical blogs, white papers, and use-case-driven publications.What We're Looking For:

Leadership: Proven experience leading and scaling technical teams, particularly Solutions Architecture or Sales Engineering functions. Technical Expertise: 7+ years of experience in technology solutions, architecture, and cloud/infrastructure technologies. Strong proficiency with hyperscaler platforms, including Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or similar. Deep understanding of AI/ML workflows, including data engineering, model deployment, and operationalization. Expertise in distributed system design, cloud security, observability, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Hands-on experience architecting large-scale, mission-critical s stems in hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated ability to align technical initiatives with broader business objectives and deliver measurable results in partner-driven engagements. Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical and business audiences effectively. Program Management: Skilled at managing sophisticated, multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with strategic priorities.Preferred Experience:

Experience with open-source technologies and platforms. Knowledge of Elastic's core solutions in search, security, and observability. Familiarity with federal procurement processes, compliance frameworks, and public sector-specific challenges.What We Offer:

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE). On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 70/30 pay mix (base salary / target variable). The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below.This range represents the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
