The Clinician Supervisor will provide clinical supervision, training and performance management for five of the six PHIICAPS family-based services teams. The position will be responsible for actively engaging staff using a friendly, open-minded, trauma- informed, strengths-based, and transparent approach. They will manage the referral process for the program, including communicating with client families, referring providers, CBH, teams, and Hall-Mercer staff. They will also facilitate weekly clinical rounds and ensure metrics of care are met and corroborated on a regular basis. The Clinician Supervisor will collaborate with the Program Manager in training staff and ensuring fidelity to the treatment model. They will review all clinical documentation (including progress notes, assessments, clinical measures, treatment plans and discharge plans) to ensure it is compliant, accurate, and timely. They will participate in departmental leadership meetings to support effective service provision and development of the program. The Clinician Supervisor will communicate with CBH to provide treatment updates via utilization reviews as needed.

Accountabilities

Supports Program Manager in overseeing clinical oversight of the program, including fidelity to the intervention model and planning for future clinical needs

Provides clinical supervision to five PHIICAPS teams, including weekly rounds, individual team clinical supervision, crisis consultation for emergent client issues (including occasional evenings and weekends), and sporadic live supervision in the community

Attends to any performance management issues and completes annual performance reviews.

Liaises with CBH and other provider agencies regularly regarding treatment updates, utilization reviews, protocol changes and communication issues

Accurately maintains client roster and related data and uploads, tracks and assigns new referrals for treatment, and communicates with caregivers from current or potential client families as needed (point person for inquiries).

Responsible for regularly reviewing staff’s clinical documentation including billable units reports, progress notes, assessments, clinical measures, treatment plans, and discharge plans; all in accordance with agency and state compliance guidelines.

Expected to participate in weekly Child Leadership Team meetings to help provide direction and strategy to the goals of the Child Services Department.

Support onboarding and offboarding of staff in transition, including interviews for new hires. Provides additional clinical support to families if a team is short-staffed, according to state regulations.

Credentials:

Required: LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC (or similar license in clinical counseling/mental health field), license eligible is acceptable

Education or Equivalent Experience:

Master's Degree in Social work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or related degree

2+ years experience in Providing clinical supervision to community based mental health treatment teams; family-based services level of care is preferred

Providing trauma-informed clinical services to children, adolescents and families in a community-mental health setting. Experience in community based model or higher level of care preferred. Experience and training in TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy) preferred
