Care Assured Home Health Care LLC Caregiver in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Applicant Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN
- Have reliable transportation to and from clients (drivers preferred but not required)
- Must have two professional references
- All Caregivers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to provide care to Consumers
- Available for 15+ hours per week during high-volume care hours (7 AM - 10 PM).
- Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
- Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and assistance to patients Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Medication reminders
- Assistance with meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to home care agency
Skills:
- Ability to provide direct patient care and follow care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- The ability to lift and transfer clients as needed
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Please note that a nursing background or certification is not mandatory for this position, but experience in caregiving or a related field is required.
