Qualifications include:
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Prior School Bus Attendant, Childcare Aide, or experience with the special needs population a plus.
- Applicants are required to pass Easterseals and Philadelphia School District required clearances, pre-employment drug testing and alcohol screening.Responsibilities include assisting pre-school aged students with disabilities entering and exiting the school bus, ensuring their safety before and during transportation, and adhering to all required guidelines. The ability to build rapport and trust with the students is very important.
