JOB SUMMARY

Manage and organize the schedules of various IR doctors Scheduling New Patient Consults for the Drs via requests from referring providers & requests from brand new patients to Penn Medicine Scheduling Procedures for the above Drs (when necessary, coordinating with CT and GA teams to get required treatment for patients) Completing and sending out patient Pre Procedure letters via Epic message, mail, or email Send patients their orders for Lab work and radiology testing via mail or email Documenting each patient telephone encounter in Epic Registering new patients into Epic (inserting their demographic information/ Insurance) Reviewing different Insurances making sure they are acceptable @ Penn Medicine Answering patient calls throughout the day to personal office line as well as our department line Check voicemails left for personal line as well as department line Scanning patient documents into Epic via OnBase Retrieving patient images from outside facilities via calling facility and requesting images be sent to Penn electronically, as well as receiving and uploading disks of images Retrieving and sorting Drs mail and various packages Review and send out above Drs progress notes from clinic visits and procedures to patient’s appropriate care team Complete Port Site Checks when needed. Process reimbursements Scan documents/images into onbase Assisting w/ onboarding training/new employees Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

H.S. Diploma/GED

3+ years A combination of education and experience will be considered.
