Industrial Pipelayer

Job Description

We are seeking skilled industrial pipefitters to join our mechanical piping crews. This position involves working in teams to set pipes, install pipe support, work on conveyor belts, and perform mechanical insulation and bull rigging tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Set pipes and pipe support.

  • Install conveyor belts and perform cerling plumbing.

  • Handle mechanical insulation and bull rigging.

  • Work with tools such as band saws, sawsaws, pipe wrenches, and measuring tape.

  • Shoot grades and level pipes.

  • Perform pipe fitting tasks in oil and gas plants and other industrial environments.

Essential Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Experience in pipe fitting and construction mechanics.

  • Ability to use levels, wrenches, measuring tape, and possess own tools.

  • Experience with band saws, sawsaws, pipe wrenches, and rigging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in oil and gas plant work is a plus.

  • Experience as a millwright or in rigging is desirable.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pflugerville, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
