Overview
Axientis seeking an IBM computer operator with database experience (JIRA and DI2E experience a plus) to support itsProductSupport Facility (PSF) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) supportSLMS contract at Peterson AFB in Colorado.
Responsibilities
Operate allSoftware Maintenance Equipment (SME)computer systems, communication systems, and all associated peripheral equipment.
SupportSoftware Maintenance Equipment (SME)OS/390 Mainframe system to identify deficiencies, outages, and upgrades by maintaining accurate documentation of system events.
Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly back-ups of the IBM OS/390 Mainframe.
Perform tasks for thePSFMaster Software Library in support of sustainment tasks
Maintain communications with system users and system administrator, the purpose of which is to identify the needs and solutions that result in timely deliveries to external customers.
Initiate repair actions.
Develop and maintain a daily running log for eachSoftware Maintenance Equipment (SME).
Qualifications
Work extensively with classified media and documents to ensure protection and proper disposition.
Able to cover other positionsas required per the contract.
Practice the highest level of diligence when handling classified material.
Possess great familiarity with mission goals and single-minded focus on customer satisfaction.
