The Opportunity
The casual Event Rigger role will execute a variety of event rigging, assist the rigging team on larger/more complex rigging events and lead the rigging team on smaller events. Working mainly in a hospitality or convention/exhibition center environment the Event Rigger role will uphold the highest level of customer service and safety.
Core Responsibilities
Prep rigging equipment, tools and safety equipment as per event requirement ensuring equipment is in service and fit for use.
Ensure all rigging is executed safely, complying with legislative, manufacturer and Encore requirements, and industry best practices
De-prep rigging equipment, tools and safety equipment ensuring equipment is packed away and stored properly, equipment is maintained and any defective equipment is out of serviced and reported.
Your Background
Experience in the Events Industry
EWP & Intermediate Riggers ticket
Ability work as pert of team in a hospitality environment
Experience with rigging load calculations highly regarded
Previous experience supervising a rigging team highly regarded
