Aerotek Manual Machinist in Perrysburg, Ohio
Description:
The Manual Machinist will have the following responsibilities:
Use micrometers/gauges proper sizing
Will perform 2-4 set-ups per shift
Will work with 0.010 tolerances
Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring and conventional milling and lathe work, using various engine lathes (e.g., horizontal and vertical mills and horizontal boring mills).
Perform various metalizing (metal spraying) techniques as needed.
Set up and perform tool-post grinding procedures and Babbitt bearing work.
Skills:
MUST HAVES:
5 years of experience as Manual Machinist in job shop environment (CNC experience is not applicable)
Ability to read blue prints
Experience working in a job shop
NICE TO HAVES:
MIG/TIG experience
Technical school certification
