Listed below are some of the job functions available in the Distribution Center. All associates will be crossed trained in multiple functions and should expect to work in at least 2 job functions throughout the month depending on product flow.
All positions are eligible to earn extra hourly incentive pay for accuracy and performance, plus a shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift positions. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance is expected. All DC jobs require working in a warehouse environment on a concrete floor all day.
DC Job Functions
Splitter - Associate scans, picks and distributes merchandise using various methods (RF Guns. Voice or Light controls, etc.). Pulls cases of merchandise on pallet jack to needed location to pick merchandise into store cartons. Associate follows required instructions on screens to grab proper quantities per store and packs box full, then pushes full box to next station.
Marker - Associate locates unmarked orders on marking lines and correctly places price tickets on each unit within an order(s). Could involve using a marking gun, sticky tickets, security sensors, etc. Once finished with one order, moves to the next order in the bay.
Each job requires a combination of standing, pushing, pulling, walking, writing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to stand/walk continuously for the duration of the full shift, up to 10 hours.
