Job Summary:
Caterpillar is seeking a skilled Creative Consult for the Resource Industries Sales, Services and Technology division to provide project consultation, support and management in the areas of art direction, design, creative development and production for digital marketing content, industry trade shows and events, and website management.
As the lead designer supporting the Caterpillar Mining brand, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects that shape the future of our industry. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of marketing professionals to create compelling visual content for Caterpillar sales and marketing teams, Cat dealer personnel, and additional external audiences. What You Will Do:
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Consultation & Strategy:
• Meet with business partners to understand their needs, goals, and target audience.
• Develop creative strategies and concepts that align with business objectives.
• Present ideas and proposals, providing clear and concise explanations.
• Creative Development & Execution:
• Brainstorm and develop innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, events and digital channels.
• Create high quality graphic design solutions utilizing latest technology and appropriate application to originate professional creative concepts. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other design tools is essential.
• Oversee the creative process, ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
• Project Management & Coordination:
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient workflow, resource allocation and strong attention to detail.
• Coordinate with project managers, copywriters, and other team members to achieve desired outcomes, on time and within budget.
• Ensure final designs and deliverables adhere to company brand voice and standards. Act as a resource/contact for brand questions.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification (or equivalent working experience of 10 years within graphic design/creative consultant roles)

Additional Information
The locations for this position are Peoria, IL & Tucson, IL.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
This position will require less than 10% travel.

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
