GE Vernova Fleet Systems Integration Leader in Pensacola, Florida

Job Description Summary

The Fleet System Integration Leader (SIL) will work across the electrical engineering and fleet performance teams in conjunction with manufacturing, sourcing and sites to ensure the successful role out of GE Vernova's workhorse wind turbines and provide technical support on quality issues.

This position will be co-located with the turbine manufacturing operations in Pensacola Florida.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

The Fleet SIL will work as part of the electrical engineering subsystem design team in support of new production and installed turbines in the field. Primary duties will include:

  • Coordination across the electrical design team to ensure electrical systems are working together as expected/designed during assembly and testing in the factory as well as in the field during operation

  • Drive and/or execute design updates to schematics, BOMs, components, installation procedures and designs to improve manufacturability, installation and quality of end products

  • Ensure lessons learned and quality/safety improvements are integrated into our designs

  • Adhere to QMS and the design review process laid out by the controlled title holders in execution of any changes

  • Support execution of PAC service cases, RCAs and Quality programs to drive turbine reliability and performance

  • Work closely with the Fleet Performance Management team to resolve complex electrical field issues

  • Collaborate with suppliers and PBM owners to ensure components go through extensive failure analysis that confirms failure modes in the field. Then follow up with corrective actions that ensure the failures have been mitigated

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience )
