ManpowerGroup Stockroom Clerk in Peabody, Massachusetts

Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to join their team. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be part of the logistics department supporting efficient material control and stockroom functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Stockroom Clerk

Location: Peabody, MA

Pay Rate: $18-$23/hr

Schedule: 6:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday and every other Friday

What's the Job?

  • Perform material control and stockroom functions, including cycle counting and kitting.

  • Manage material put away and fill material requisitions accurately.

  • Conduct physical counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in a manufacturing environment.

  • Utilize inventory management software and systems effectively.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and address discrepancies.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in performing physical counts in a manufacturing setting.

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely and efficiently.

  • Knowledgeable in using inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, barcode scanners).

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize counting tasks.
