Emerson Guardian Technical Support and Administrator in Pasig, Philippines

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

  • Conducting advanced-level troubleshooting on Guardian-related issues, and escalation to the software development team and IT. This involves troubleshooting, problem analysis and solutions generation to software, configuration, and application issues and inquiries. Maintains ownership of all received customer problems, provides timely updates, and sets the appropriate escalation priority.

  • Successfully working to identify workarounds, reduce product problem resolution time, and support efforts to develop training and troubleshooting resources (e.g. procedures, diagnostics, and documentation)

  • Collaborating with Local Business Partners and Field Service Organizations worldwide, Technology, and Marketing to resolve product issues and assist in plotting product feature directions at a local and global level

  • Conducting Guardian User Account administration - creation of user accounts and identifying the appropriate privileges

  • Monitoring and managing the Guardian Info Mailbox and Guardian website feedback emails, raise various customer requests to responsible parties

  • Responding to Guardian website user inquiries, providing customer service.

Who You Are:

For this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of BS/MS Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or Management Information System (MIS)

  • At least two (2) years of related work experience in product or service support

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, website development, and computer applications and fundamentals

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent English language communication skills both oral and written

  • Good customer management skills, flexibility to work in a cross-cultural team, with internal and external customers

  • Ability to troubleshoot systems and to present clear and concise information to the team, internal customers, and external customers

  • This work is primarily on the night shift

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Exposure in process control or process engineering is desirable but not required.

  • Knowledge or experience in any programming or scripting language, ex. Power Automate, SQL, Visual Basic, C#, PowerShell, and .NET is an advantage
