Job Description

Conduct hazard analyses and risks assessments for varying shipboard systems to identify, and alleviate potential safety hazards and risks. Collaborate with other disciplines including design and project managers to integrate safety protocol and considerations into system implementation. Review changes to existing design to identify all potential safety impacts. Develop operating and support hazard analyses reports for all new and modified equipment to ensure system safety is being tracked throughout the lifecycle of the system, and well as for new continuous innovation.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (i.e., Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Industrial Engineering) from an ABET Certified College

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Corrosion Control and/or Human Systems Engineering preferred.
