Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)
Financial analyst is focused on supporting the project accounting and finance functions for Outage Services. Coordinate and assist with developing and capturing the scopes and components such as labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts essential to accurate budgeting and forecasting. and manage projects and financial processes to ensure accurate payment, reporting, budgeting, and compliance with company policies. Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to analyze data, resolve issues, and support operational goals through effective communication and process management.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with stakeholders providing updates on project billing, and impact to budgets and forecast
Ability to read & interpret contracts necessary to support audit
Research and resolve discrepancies related to time sheet and billing summaries
Work collaboratively with teams, directors, and vendors to resolve issues
Provide insights into project performance and variances through development of rate trends and scopes
Develops and maintains job processes, procedures, and metrics
Perform other tasks as assigned
Routine and non-routine decisions have some latitude but are still subject to approval
With limited guidance, prioritizes and executes responsibilities effectively
Work periodically reviewed by others; work reflects solid performance of duties
Works on problems of limited scope.
Work typically consists of a variety of routine tasks, which provide experience and increased job knowledge.

May coordinate efforts of others
Basic communication – delivers information to individuals within defined parameters.
Fosters relationships with the Operations team and shows a willingness to learn about the Energy industry
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or equivalent experience
Requires 3+ years’ experience in related field
Critical thinking, financial and data analysis skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel
Ability to work in a fast-pace environment with significant deadlines
Recognizes the importance of being a team player by adapting to changing project needs
Effective communication (both oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills
Experience working with Excel including Pivot Tables, and other key functions is preferred
PeopleSoft, Maximo experience a plus
Some overtime required
