Compensation Range:

$19.06 – $28.58 / Hour

Expectations:

Provides safe and secure environment for all persons on premises by conducting patrols of hospital property, answering calls and documenting activities. Investigates and makes recommendations. Ca. Drivers license and Guard Card certifications are required. Require flexibility of hours (off shifts).

EDUCATION:High school diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:Six months of experience in Security or related field.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Required:Current California (CA) driver’s license. Must be insurable under Huntington’s liability insurance.Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

SKILLS:In house 8 hour AVADE training to be completed within the first month of hire. Must be renewed annually as part of an annual 40 hour Security Officer training program.Initial and annual trauma “Stop the Bleed” training within one month of hire.Read, write, speak English fluently. Basic computer knowledge, to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, and other hospital related programs. Basic report writing skills.
