Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $77,323.00 – $87,508.00 / Year depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

Provides leadership and supervision to the residents by coordinating day-to-day activities that support the operational goals and initiatives of the Hospital. Ensure resident compliance with Hospital policies and procedures, meeting regulatory requirements within assigned areas. Facilitate program accreditation of internal medicine or general surgery program as regulated by ACGME. Oversight of residency program annual calendar; subspecialty requirements; risk management issues; information technology; medical student curriculum and annual cycle. Manage recruitment, selection and hiring of new residents. Credential and onboard fellows, rotating residents and medical students according to agreements’ specifications. This position may require flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Management or Social Science preferred.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:Minimum two years’ experience in a medical or academic health care setting is required.At least two to three years of experience in medical education preferred.Experience in managing multiple project deadlines.Management and/or supervisory experience is preferred.

SKILLS:Must have superior skills in written and verbal communication, problem solving and decision making. Must have good administrative, organizational and managerial skills to supervise and delegate. Ability to prioritize, establish goals and develop long- range planning.
