Compensation Range:
$30.90 – $48.00 / Hour

Expectations:
Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, safety testing and repair of a diverse range of clinical equipment, typically non-life support.This position requires flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION:Associate degree or vocational training in electronics, biomedical equipment technology or a related field.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:One year experience as a biomedical equipment technician is a healthcare setting preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Preferred:Current Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification
SKILLS:Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting.– PM completion rate achieves 100% for life support equipment.– Schedules PMs and informs the head of department in a timely fashion.– Documents entire procedure including follow-up on “delinquent devices” on a monthly basis.– Completes assignments monthly.– Performs safety inspections per HMH CT’s PMP procedures.– Based on the results of the test, makes the immediate necessary corrections.
