Description 6 medical is a 26 bed medical/surgical unit, from which 9 beds have cardiac monitoring capability. It is comprised of all private rooms. 6 patient rooms are designed for hospice patients, but can be used for non-hospice. Our patients range from 18 years. COMMON DIAGNOSESCOPD, Pneumonia, Asthma/Bronchitis, Urinary Tract Infection, Chronic Renal Failure, Dehydration, Diabetes Mellitus, Cellulitis, Decubitus Ulcers, Wound Infections, Hospice Symptom Management and Gastrointestinal Problems Shift Available: Full-time Nights Sign on Bonus: $8,000.00 Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. ACLS/PALS may be required based on clinical area standards.
