Tiffany & Co. Sales Planning EMEA (F/H) in Paris, France
In a context of accelerated growth, we are looking to elevate and innovate the Sale Planning processes for the EMEA region, and she/he will be a key player to develop a best in class forecast management and with a business.
The sale planning EMEA will contribute to develop the regional accountability in and she/he is part of the regional business partnering team for EMA in the Tiffany global supply chain organisation. This role requires the deft combination of both business and technical knowledge to meet the wider Tiffany business goal of becoming the next generation luxury jeweller. Together with the Supply Chain Director, he/she will build the regional sales planning role and tools to support the growth and the ambition of the region.
The sales planner EMEA assists the EMEA supply chain Director driving the business partnering with:
EMEA supply chain team to have correct projection to support business
EMEA merchandising team to align on the products strategy designed
Central supply chain
EMEA Finance team to align sales expectation
She/He makes decisions with imperfect information, believes strongly in the concept of Continuous Improvement, is willing to roll up sleeves to unblock issues, and critically, will use the experience to improve the bad process that led to such blockages in the first place.
Missions :
Day-to-Day forecasting process (50%) – Actively create and manage the full forecasting process yearly, monthly, and weekly with constant follow up of performances. Current highlights of this accountability include:
Prepare the Zone best estimate and coordinate with budget
Work on sales planning at product category/ family / sku level
Coordinate with central supply chain the monthly validation
Constant review of new product profiles and performances
Day to Day launch planning (40%) – create and coordinate the EMEA launch planning process.
Coordinate with central supply chain the timing of product availability to match launches to ensure enough stock will be available in EMEA rdc;
Create a monthly launch planning process for all products categories: insure the correct departure and arrival of new product from Rdc to stores
Coordinate with regional Dc the delivery plan
Assure with merch team the launch strategy
Manage tense situation
Projects and process improvements (10%) – Constantly support the Supply Chain Director working on process and tools improvement with local and central supply team. Current highlights of this accountability include:
develop new reporting tools to better monitor the actual business
contributing to develop the Anaplan tools to improve forecasting
work with distribution and logistics on new launches
Profile :
5-7 years of supply chain experience in multi-country environment
Engineer or Business Bachelor’s degree
Experience in working on projects with tight timelines, without daily supervision
Excellent IT skills, on excel, Power BI and Anaplan
Able to deal with ambiguity and make decisions based on best available info
Strong interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in working across cultures and pre-empting “lost-in-translation” situations
