What you’ll achieve

The Investigative Fraud Analyst will be a highly experienced Analyst skilled in the development and production of impactful analytical products. The ideal candidate will have experience operating in multi-agency or diverse corporate environments which require collaborative work habits and have experience leading groups of analysts at both the tactical and strategic levels. Exceptional leadership skills and relationship building are key to this role.

You will:

  • Develops and applies a broad range of techniques and theories from statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to identify suspect contacts and transaction

  • Leads and performs end-to-end steps involved in model development, while establishing subject-matter expertise in key horizontal or vertical themes

  • Executes preliminary data exploration, data preparation steps and variable/algorithm selection as well as model development/validation and scoring Independently develops and drives testing of algorithms efficacy for differing analytical use-cases

  • Contributes to partnerships & relationships with third parties by developing/testing vertical/horizontal analytical solutions and product integrations

  • Develops and demonstrates analytical findings and trending analysis, Develops and performs investigative link analysis, Conducts ad hoc data compilation

Essential Requirements

  • 4-7 years relative experience OR Masters Degree in Computer Science or other related study and 5+ years fraud analytics experience in a government or corporate setting, ML/Algorithmic experience.

  • Data Science, Big Data, Machine Learning, Python or SQL querying.

  • Identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making. Build algorithms and design experiments .

  • Working knowledge of technical tools as they pertain tactical and strategic analytical products and model development

  • Experience leading small analytical teams in diverse environments
