Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite in Palo Alto, CA or New York City, NY

We are seeking an experienced Retention & Growth Lead to drive engagement, retention, and growth across our website and subscription products.This role will be responsible for our subscription revenue, user growth goals, and implementing strategies to maximize customer acquisition and retention.This role will be pivotal in understanding our customer journey, developing targeted communication strategies, and optimizing touchpoints to maximize customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, creative, and possess a strong understanding of CRM, lifecycle, and growth marketing principles.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve growth and retention targets for revenue and user growth goals

  • Develop and execute strategies across the customer lifecycle to identify at-risk customers, mitigate churn, maintain high NPS scores, and cultivate long-term loyalty while maximizing customer LTV

  • Manage and leverage our CDP (Customer Data Platform) to segment audiences, personalize communications, and trigger automated campaigns

  • Lead campaign management and operations across performance media channels to drive improved reach, consideration, and conversion outcomes across the funnel

  • Advise on creative workflow process for owned & paid channel content (email, performance media, direct mail, in-app messaging, etc.) to nurture leads, onboard new users, and engage existing customers

  • Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing and SMS campaigns, including segmentation, automation, A/B testing, and performance analysis

  • Drive app signups and engagement through targeted campaigns and in-app messaging

  • Manage and optimize our presence on app stores (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store) to improve visibility and drive downloads

  • Identify and implement new opportunities for app subscription revenue streams

  • Utilize data analytics tools to track KPIs, generate insights, and make data-driven decision

  • Works closely with other members of the Kohler Ventures Commercial team. Collaborates closely with Customer Success, Product

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier US institution in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of experiencein lifecycle marketing, CRM, or growth marketing roles, with a focus on both website users and subscription models in a zero to one new business build or high growth business unit. Preferably in the wellness and tech industry.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth.

  • Hands on channel experience with various performance media channels including SEM, Paid Social, Display, Affiliates

  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and best practices, including segmentation, automation, and deliverability.

  • Experience with growing revenue and user signs ups through App Store Optimization (ASO) as well as Apps Store / Play Store advertising

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience with ESP platforms and CRM tools

  • Proven track record of driving new customer growth and reducing churn.

  • Positive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and ability to drive work forward

  • Travel requirement: Approx. 10%.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The approved base salary range for this position is $109,550 - $136,950. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is subject to Area Salary Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) that ranges from 24.5%-30% of base salary for the San Francisco Bay area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $142,415- $178,035 depending on location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k.
