Pay Range: $45-55/hour

The Classes : The OFJCC is seeking an enthusiastic and motivating Cycle Instructor to design and lead challenging cycling classes on our Keiser M3i bikes in our outdoor cycling studio. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to inspire and connect with our members while creating an unforgettable fitness journey.
The Core Duties:
Stay up to date on current fitness and class trends in area(s) of expertise
Provide a safe, fun and motivating class to all participants
Design classes appropriate for a wide range of fitness levels and ages; provide appropriate modifications and progressions
Provide excellent and courteous customer service to members
Communicate with Group Exercise Manager on member feedback, equipment needs and operational status, scheduling, and subbing.
The Essentials:
Enthusiastic about group exercise classes and enjoy creating and delivering new, fresh and innovative routines
Confident in your professionalism and a passion to motivate others
Professional Instructor certification(s) in specific disciplines or format of classes taught
Current CPR/AED certification
Prior experience teaching/leading group classes
Working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and training principals
Knowledge of group fitness teaching strategies and the incorporations of music, tempo, cueing technique, and rhythm
Continue to earn all necessary Continuing Education Credit’s (CECs or CEUs)
Collaborative and a flexible leader in and out of the studio
Extensive knowledge of classes being taught
Excellent communication skills
