Are you an experienced welder with a passion for quality and precision? PDS Tech Commercial Inc. is seeking dedicated Welders to join our team in Palmetto, FL.
Role Summary:
As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding processes. You will be responsible for performing welding operations, interpreting blueprints and specifications, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Your expertise in welding techniques and attention to detail will be essential in meeting project requirements and ensuring the safety and reliability of our products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain welding equipment and tools, and perform routine maintenance as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Welder.
Proficiency in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick.
Recent experience welding stainless steel and/or aluminum.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred:
Relevant certification or training in welding.
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of welding codes and standards.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Interview and Weld Test:
In-person interviews and weld tests are conducted on Thursdays from 1:00-5:30pm at the Port Manatee site.
Candidates must bring their personal weld hood and steel-toe work shoes for the weld test.
Safety glasses and hearing protection will be provided as needed.
Only submit candidates with verified 3-5 years of experience welding aluminum.

Pay Details: $25.57 to $31.48 per hour
