Actalent Project Manager in Palmetto, Florida

Description

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with estimating, procurement, subcontractor management, RFI's, submittals, change orders, tracking billing, scheduling, AP/AR, closing, and project profitability. As a Project Manager, you will oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and overall project delivery.

Estimating and Budget Management: Prepare accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and track expenses to ensure financial performance.

Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.

Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.

RFI's and Submittals: Handle Requests for Information (RFI's) and submittals, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Change Orders: Manage change orders, including documentation, negotiation, and implementation.

Billing and Financial Tracking: Track project billing, manage accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR), and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project requirements.

Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel.

Project Closing: Oversee project closing activities, ensuring all documentation is complete and final inspections are conducted.

Project Profitability: Monitor and report on project profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Proficient in construction management software and tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $58.00/hr.
