Seeking a Financial Analyst who will be an integral part of the Project Finance team to support the delivery of our near and long-term financial objectives. The scope of responsibilities includes partnering to implement strategic Operations Finance projects, supporting a Product Costing database, and performing Gross Inventory and E&O data validations.

The Financial Analyst will partner across teams to standardize and optimize processes. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, questioning status quo and looking for opportunities for improvement. The Financial Analyst will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Finance Projects Team.

What you will do:

  • Partner with IT/BI/Finance teams to maintain the Product Costing database (Standard Margin and Price/Volume/Mix reporting).

  • Build and maintain dashboards/visualizations to drive better understanding of product cost trends (per SKU and/or product families) and identify/monitor cost drivers and their use for financial reporting and inventory valuation

  • Manage on-going data Inventory validation process (Data Warehouse to PBI to CMR): Reconcile site reported inventory vs. inventory reported in the data warehouse, identify areas of improvement, and partner across functions to resolve differences

  • Provide updates to senior management with focus on decisions, issues, and risks

  • Lead change management communications

  • Benchmark and optimize Operations Finance processes across divisions

  • Independently investigate data issues and/or information given, ask pertinent questions and identify root causes, collaborate with functional business partners and system support to improve data quality

  • Proactively learn and adopt new systems and tools to improve analytics capability and accuracy

How you will get here:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business related field Experience

  • 3+ years relevant experience in finance

  • Affinity for financial and analytical systems (e.g. Hyperion, Cognos, PowerBI, Excel)

  • Win/win attitude with emphasis on collaboration

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills towards senior management

  • Ability to work independently in a constantly evolving environment, prioritize, and meet deliverables while ensuring consistent, accurate and reliable work
