Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator
Location: Oxnard, CA (Onsite 4x/week – Fridays Off!)
Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 base salary
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Oxnard, CA. This is an onsite position Monday through Thursday – enjoy a long weekend every week! You'll play a key role in managing and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance across our systems.
What You’ll Do
Manage and maintain VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments.
Oversee Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD.
Provide light networking support – including VLANs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning and optimization.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and security patches.
Collaborate with internal teams to support business-critical applications and systems.
Create and maintain system documentation, processes, and procedures.
Participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives and projects.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
Strong expertise in
VMware administration and architecture.
Solid experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Hands-on experience managing and supporting Office 365 / Microsoft 365 environments.
Familiarity with basic networking concepts (switching, routing, firewalls, DNS/DHCP).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Microsoft, CompTIA) are a plus.
