Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values a Clinical Lab Scientist III (CLS III) performs routine and complex testing in multiple areas of the clinical laboratory in a timely manner with a minimum of direct supervision. Provides training and technical assistance for coworkers. Monitors and evaluates quality control for testing performed. Performs routing maintenance and repair on instruments utilized.
This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Three (3) years clinical laboratory experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist
Minimum two (2) years of experience in section of specialty
California Medical Technologist license (LIC CLS)
Special Skills:
Extensive knowledge of principles procedures and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis especially in section of responsibility.
Knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements (CAP CLIA Joint Commission).
Excellent communication skill both orally and in writing.
Ability to be an effective team member and work with many publics across all departments.
Ability to understand and utilize adult principles of learning.
Ability to direct and provide leadership to others.
Pay Range
$54.86 - $65.21 /hour
