What will you do?
Initiate internal and customer related incidents investigation (Foreign material, rejects, holds, etc.) via a formal root cause analysis; engage all relevant functions in the investigation, analyses and resolves problems to develop corrective solutions, and assists employees in solving problems.
Monitor and enforce company and government regulations pertaining to Good Manufacturing Practices and sanitation requirements.
Inspects equipment and rooms to ensure they are clean/sanitized and ready for production. Follow through with responsible parties in the event additional cleaning is needed.
Review and assist in compiling quality and statistical data like CCP, PC, QA and Operational checks, and perform positive release.
Perform activities to transition to a Total Quality Management System (i.e. conduct projects that enable in line monitoring and training to food safety programs).
Collaborate cross-functionally for on-site initiatives and programs.
Change Management / Change Control.
Understand the requirements and ensure adherence facility to Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), certification standards (ISO, GFSI, etc.) for all activities including: Food Safety Plan, Food Defense Plan, Food Fraud Vulnerability Assessment, Food Quality Plans, and Intentional Adulteration Plans.
Lead a team of QA and QC professionals to ensure that products are manufactured according to requirements and that facility practices are established & maintained in compliance with relevant requirements.
Coach & guide employees to advance their development (e.g., succession planning).
Support and maintain site s document control & record retention polices.
What will you need to be successful?
Bachelors degree in food science, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, or related.
Certifications in SQF, HACCP, PCQI and/or related are highly preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant quality experience in food manufacturing.
Proven leadership & people management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $64,479 to $95,074 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
