THE WORK

Lockheed Martin Corporation's Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business is searching for an experienced System Engineering professional to join our team. As a member of the team, you will be supporting domestic and foreign military programs.

WHO WE ARE

This role is for a Systems Integration Engineer within the eTech Mission Systems Engineering Rotary Integration Team. The department supports Naval Helicopter Programs and is responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the MH-60R and MH-60S subsystem capabilities. This position will be responsible for ensuring the technical quality, cost, and schedule commitments are met while leading complementary teams. The successful candidate will support an Integration team responsible for:

• Developing & conducting systems maturity, stability and flight scenario testing

• Developing & conducting system level test and verification

• Leading & conducting data analysis for Proof of Compliance

• Transforming Design into test objectives that meet Lab, Ground and Flight Test in support of customer sell off.

• Developing of the Program Functional Integration Plan & Master Test Plan

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience with Avionic platforms Systems Integration and Test engineering life cycle including requirements development, system design, problem analysis and resolution, integration and test.

- Electrical/Mechanical/Computer engineering, or Computer Science, or 5 years of applicable experience in a related field (or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree).

- Experience with laboratory test execution, requirements traceability, Integration and Test/Software Verification procedure development, and test development metrics

- Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

- Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills:

- Experience working on Military Avionics platforms

- Experience with ASW/SUW missions and tactics

- Experience working in classified environments.

- Experience with data analysis, using tools like MATLAB or Python

- Experience with instrumentation and data capture, like IRIG Chapter 10 data recorders, Wireshark, etc.

- Experience with data bus and ethernet standards, like MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, and IEEE 802.3.

- Experience with a diversity of complex electrical (hardware) systems

- Application of overall systems engineering efforts

- Ability to read and use technical schematics, drawings, software specs, and manuals along with other technical materials to resolve complex problems

- Experience with requirements tracking and bug tracking tools such as DOORs and JIRA.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
