Lockheed Martin Electrical Engineer Staff (Circuit Board Design) in Owego, New York

Description: Lockheed Martin is looking for a Electrical Engineer Staff (Circuit Card Design) in Owego, NY. You will work in a cutting edge environment with relevant and game changing technologies.

This exciting work will include architecting and designing computer hardware for advanced processing solutions. Specifically the candidate will be a lead circuit board designer who will research, develop, and release the electrical schematics. You will work with the rest of the development team to deliver the circuit card packaging data and perform initial integration and test of the prototype circuit board.

You will apply advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concept and contribute to the development of new principles and theories. You will work on unusually complex technical problems and provides solution which are highly innovative and ingenious.

You will be able to research, design, develop, and test on a variety of electronic equipment and systems. Systems will include analog and digital computers, radar and radiation detection equipment and systems, circuitry components, and control and test equipment.

Ability to obtain and maintain Secret level clearance required.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience of 20+ years

-Experience with digital circuit / logic design (schematic creation), processor design & architecture

-Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

Desired Skills:

-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer

Engineering or Electrical Engineering

-Experience in designing Aero-Defense Industry compliant

designs (For example: DO-254, DO-178, CMOSS, SOSA)

-Project and team leadership experience

-Knowledge of DevSecOps

-Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
