Accenture SAP Chemicals & Natural Resources Manager in Overland Park, Kansas

You Are:

A proven client adviser, excited by solving our clients’ toughest business challenges with SAP technologies. You lead your clients with a strong point of view that you have constructed with your experience helping fortune 500 clients address the challenges of modernizing and digitizing their enterprises. You possess broad transformation and industry experience, and deep SAP functional skills. You can lead projects and teams and have strong communication, people and executive presence skills that help you build credibility with senior client executives.

The Work:

  • Use your natural resources or chemicals industry knowledge and technical expertise to decipher clients’ needs in SAP Industry Solutions for Natural Resources/Chemicals

  • Lead teams of consultants to advise clients on using SAP to build state-of-the-art solutions powered by SAP tools such as SAP S/4 HANA, SAP IBP, Ariba, or other Industry Solutions for Natural Resources/Chemicals in Transformation Projects

  • Lead delivery of stand-out SAP solutions that meet your clients’ unique needs and position them for long-term success

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with your clients’ senior leaders to help Accenture become the go-to partner in bringing their long-term vision to life

  • Grow Accenture’s SAP practice by leading business development, proposal submission, and sales efforts

  • Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice by continuing to build your own and your team’s expertise in SAP

  • Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements

    Here’s What You Need:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP (ECC and/or S4HANA) or Industry Solution for Chemicals/Metals/Mining/Forest Products

  • At least 3 years of business development experience within SAP

  • Strong SAP transformation, advisory or consulting experience and demonstrated success in a dynamic career path

  • Experience engaging with Senior executives on defining future state vision, business case and transformation roadmaps

  • Experience leading or contributing to sales pursuits for technology/SAP related work

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Bonus Points If:

  • You have experience in a client-facing consulting role

  • Ability to define and communicate the “big picture” in terms of the overall integrated solution (both functional and technical components) and break it down into smaller manageable work units

    Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below. California: $93,400 to $258,500

Colorado: $93,400 to $223,300

New York: $86,500 to 258,500

Washington: $99,500 to $237,800
