Doosan Bobcat NA US Sr Regional Manager Warehouse & Distribution in Otsego, Minnesota

*Job Information* Sr Regional Manager Warehouse & Distribution will oversee the production materials warehousing & distribution functions of Doosan Bobcat NA. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of receiving, repackaging, kitting, and warehousing for bulk raw materials, including the management of third party logistics service providers. They are also responsible for directing the distribution of finished goods and overseeing the material & information flow of production parts to the Factory Parts Contol Areas (PCA's). This individual will be responsible for overseeing total inventory management including financial asset control, integrity of physical assets and inventory control for each NA facility's inventory, replenishment processes, returnable container management, and plan for every part (PFEP). *Role & Responsibility* Receiving, Kitting, Warehouse & Distribution Management • Strategic planning and Implementation of a regional warehousing utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems used among all North America locations • Collaborate with top-level Corporate and Sector management across the Company to leverage logistics & sourcing opportunities • Focus on strategy, operating results and continuous improvement efforts; drive unnecessary complexity and cost out of production parts procurement, packaging, storage, and movement of materials to point of use Inventory Management & PFEP • Develop and oversee inventory control reporting & best practices • Oversee plan for every part (PFEP) processes • Develop and lead the returnable container management program • Support the Purchasing & Planning Managers to achieve optimal reordering strategies Inventory and Supplier Management • Partner with each facility's local finance team to properly forecast month over month inventory, inventory turn, and COGS data to meet or exceed company AOP and LRP goals • Oversee the complete facility management of each PCA and each replenishment process to ensure that standard protocol is used in supporting production and line execution • Lead and manage the overall scorecard metric process to enable each individual and ensure that the vision is communicated and executed to on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis • Oversee the contract negotiation and capability to properly manage a relationship with a Third Party Logistics Company and enable financial success through the execution of Key Performance Indicators • Support the production lines in all NA facilities to properly manage labor and overhead • Manage OSMI to reduce the overall risk to the Supply Base and to Doosan • Ensure that all material purchased is purchased within the Strategic Sourcing negotiated guideline for each supplier Staff Management • Direct local activities of supply chain staff and coordinate sourcing cooperation with other Doosan-Bobcat business units • Lead the process of total development of each Manager and PCA Staff including other subordinates to ensure that they have proper direction, tools, and training to accomplish the tasks that face them • Lead the Lean Six Sigma process for the Supply Chain Team to enable training and development of Green and Black Belt's • Oversee the leadership of cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Manufacturing, product planning teams and engineering to develop material replenishment strategies • Foster an environment of continuous improvement to utilize tools that allocate Oracle, MES, and its other sub systems *Job Requirement* • Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering. Master's Degree preferred • Experience Required: 10>15 years • Travel Required: 15-25% • Experience driving lean six sigma practices, 3 or 4PL evaluations and implementations, plus experience developin effective material flow strategies • Six Sigma Green Belt required but Black Belt or equivalent preferred • Ability to think strategically about how to improve the business service and direct the steps necessary to execute the plan • Strong analytical skills required. Excellent facilitation and communication skills required • Waste elimination is critical by utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools to reduce non-value added processes and further enable team members to drive productivity and efficiencies • Drive both productivity and operations excellence thru innovation • Individual must be collaborative in leadership style with a focus on team leadership within multiple locations • Must be skilled in the use of Office, Oracle, MES, WMS, and MES for materials replenishment • Ability to articulate, lead and direct the organizational goals • Strong analytical thinker with mid to high level computer skills • #CB • #GD As a part of the Doosan Group, which employs more than 43,000 people in 38 countries worldwide, the company offers its customers products and solutions to help build stronger businesses and communities.
