We are seeking a Territory Manager to join our experienced and dedicated team of 6 professionals in a dynamic environment where motivation, passion, and innovation are key drivers for success. In this role, you will take responsibility for the development and growth of sales within your assigned region. Your crucial tasks will involve implementing our sales strategy, planning, closely monitoring customer and sales activities, and fostering the development of both customers and the business within your region.

As a Territory Manager, your primary focus will be working in the field, with approximately 80% of your time dedicated to visiting optical outlets. This will require the ability to independently structure your workday and maintain effective communication with colleagues through phone, Teams, and email. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, Nordics North, this is a permanent position that offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop over time, grow in an organization, evolve personally and expertly.

Objectives of the Position

At Johnson & Johnson Vision, we prioritize building strong relationships and partnerships with our customers. As a Territory Manager, your role will involve driving sales targets and establishing collaborative connections between our company and optical store owners, opticians, and store staff. The position is in Norway and the geographic districts covered by the TM are with your base from home ideally in Vestfold or surrounding areas, between Oslo and Kristiansand. This role will require travel, with approximately 30-50% of your working time involving overnight stays, depending on your location. You will cover nearby and more distant areas through a mix of face-to-face and virtual meetings.

Qualifications

  • Education, bachelor’s degree or Equivalent

  • Proven successful track record in selling (within the Medical Devices or FCMG sector is a merit but not a requisite)

  • Norwegian proficient and English sophisticated is a must.

  • Driver license is required
