Abbott Facilities Engineer in Oslo, Norway

Abbott Diagnostics Technologies AS (ATN) is part of Abbott Diagnostics, bringing together teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions. The position of Facilities Engineer within our Cardiometabolic Unit located in Oslo, Norway.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes as per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.

  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.

  • Responsibility to understand and maintain awareness of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job. Technical installations work as intended, and in accordance with good GMP standard. Authority to lead hired technical service personnel when needed.

  • Independent execution of installation / repair and maintenance work throughout his / her work area, incl. written update of the maintenance

  • Operation and maintenance of the property Kjelsåsveien 161 with all building technical installations, as well as practical assistance in preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment to the extent there is capacity for it Operation of buildings with technical installations for plumbing and electrical.

  • Alarm systems, shell protection and access control.

  • Provide assistance, manage hired service personnel if required  Manage and update all technical documentation for building and technical installations.

  • All electrical installations belonging to the company must be inspected according to the company’s requirements of the Regulations for electrical building installations.

  • Keep up to date in subject area in order to comply with applicable laws, regulations and regulations that are important to their area of work and responsibility.

  • Assist with new installations and rebuilds of all electrical equipment belonging to the company.

  • Responsible for the department's SOP system, which is connected to building technical installations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, and 0-2 years of experience in related field, or master’s degree in related discipline, and 0-1 years of experience in related field

  • Good communication skills in writing and orally, both in Norwegian and English

  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
